Hi,

moving a waypoint (or a route waypoint) to another place is not very handy with the arrows and the number of points to select. This feature is nice for fine adjustments, but for rough placing, it would be easier to move an object just with the mouse.

This feature exists.
First you must unlock objects on map (menu View - Lock objects on maps or Alt+L). This to avoid inadvertently moving an object.
