Posted - 08/11/2013 : 15:03:21 hi,
I was trying to create a KMZ file and error message popup. "FreeImage Library plugin JPEG is unable to write images with a color depth of 32 bp" There is nothing wrong with the image since previous version of OKMap had no problem creating KMZ file.
thanks, Reinhard |

Posted - 24/11/2013 : 09:11:24 I’ve fixed this issue. I’m sorry for the inconvenient. You’ll find fixed it in the next version of OkMap. Meanwhile to solve the problem convert manually (with a image editor) your map image from 32 to 24 color depth bit. Thanks for reporting.

Hi Reinhard, please can you send me an example so I can do some tests? Tell me also the operations that you have done before the error has occurred. Thanks
Hi,
The link to the file is the following ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/coz1ydwxcau57og/Anthony%20Nose%20Area.zip ). The compress file contains the tiff and it okm file. I will email you the password to the zip file. I would just perform the normal KMZ procedure: jpg, 90 of quality, and 255 opacity. |

Hi Reinhard, I've already solved this issue. You'll find it fixed in the next version of OkMap. The image you have loaded was an ECW image?
Nope, it was a tif file... thanks for the support..
