Posted - 21/03/2012 : 15:26:39 Hi. Not sure of the right forum Topic, but I was wondering about restrictions on File/Attachment uploads to the forum EG: maximum MBs, maximum image width/height in pixels, file extensions, compressed, etc? Cheers.

Posted - 22/03/2012 : 02:51:13 Thanks. TEST Image uploaded to OkMap server OK. Scncap image of 1024x768 was auto-reduced by server(?) to about 800x600 pixels. Upload successful, and message that the image is added.
Image link then cut&pasted from the attachment viewer here ( http://www.okmap.org/forum/public/20123222217_Test%20attachment.JPG )
Link tags applied here http://www.okmap.org/forum/public/20123222217_Test%20attachment.JPG

Posted - 21/03/2012 : 17:13:02 I've fixed a timeout asp script on server. However upload seems very slow. I think my provider is responsible of that. Make some tests with your upload band and tell me if it's acceptable. Otherwise use a free attachment server and post the link. I'm sorry but I think cannot do other things. |
