No. When selected "Ignore GPS errors", OkMap check the sequence of altitudes. If the trend is ascent and a point is lower than previous OkMap calculates the average between previous and next point (understand this as an error). Similarly if the trend is descent and a point is higher than previous. This function should be used only for tracks coming from GPS and not for track designed manually. If the behavior is different please send me a screenshot and a little explanation of your track (GPS or manually designed, with or without altitude or time information in all points, ecc...). |

Gian,
I don't understand what you mean manually, unless you mean designing a route. This is not the case. All the gpx data did come gps itself... i will attach the graph with/out the ignore gps error ..I don't why, I always having difficulties uploading pics.. you can take a look at the screenshots at http://community.webshots.com/album/582724053lbHceO?vhost=community. |

Sorry, yes manually I mean design with mouse on the map. To upload pics use "Insert image on imageshack.us" link below and follow instructions. Can you send me (info@okmap.org) the gpx file so I can do some tests? Thank you for reporting and support. |

The problem is when a different measure unit (from meters) is used. I'll fix in the next version of the software. LIHiker, thanks for reporting. |
