SRTM DEM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) files provide terrain elevation data
and can be used to generate elevation profiles, contour lines, hillshade maps
and 3D terrain analysis.
OkMap Desktop and OkMap Mobile use these data to improve GPS track analysis,
terrain visualization and outdoor route planning.
SRTM data are available in HGT format with a resolution of 3 arc-seconds
(approximately 90 m at the equator).
Using DEM Data with OkMap
SRTM DEM data can be used with OkMap Desktop and OkMap Mobile
for elevation analysis, terrain visualization and outdoor route planning.
