In this video, you will learn how to create GPS waypoints on the map, edit their properties, customize their appearance, move them, delete them and save them to a GPX file.

OkMap includes advanced GPS waypoint management tools, allowing you to organize points of interest, destinations and geographic references in a simple and effective way.

Procedure:

• Download the elevation data (DEM) required to obtain terrain information
• Create a waypoint on the map
• View the information associated with the waypoint
• Edit the waypoint name, description and other properties
• Customize the icon used to represent it on the map
• Generate new waypoints based on distance and bearing
• Unlock map objects to allow them to be moved
• Move or delete waypoints when necessary
• Use the waypoint list for additional management operations
• Save the waypoints to a GPX file

Tips:

• Use meaningful names and clear descriptions to manage large numbers of waypoints more easily
• Choose icons that match the type of point of interest being represented
